Matric (General) Introduction
The Matric (General) program at AIOU is carefully designed to provide students with a strong academic base. Out of the total 48 credit hours, 36 credit hours are compulsory courses. These compulsory subjects are spread across the first, second, and third semesters, ensuring that every student builds a balanced and complete foundation.
In the fourth semester, students have the choice to select elective courses based on their interests and career goals. This flexibility allows learners to shape their academic journey while staying aligned with their future aspirations.
