Project: Academic Integrity in Using Artificial Intelligence Generative Tools for Content Development for Distance Learning
Research Assistant (01 Post)
The Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), AIOU, invites applications for a short-term Research Assistant position. The role is part of an internal, time-bound project emphasizing responsible use of AI tools and safeguarding academic integrity in distance learning.
- Number of Posts: 01
- Duration: 3 months (contract)
- Qualification: Enrolled in MPhil/PhD (Education) or completed MPhil from a public-sector university. Strong communication, interpersonal, computer, and report-writing skills required.
- Remuneration: PKR 15,000/month
- Location: Islamabad Campus
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in literature review and synthesis on AI-generated educational content and academic integrity.
- Collect, clean, and organize project data.
- Support surveys, content analysis, and small-scale research tasks.
- Draft reports, meeting notes, and contribute to final deliverables.
- Collaborate with project team and participate in meetings.
Desired Attributes
Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, understanding of research ethics, and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team. Prior exposure to educational technology or AI tools is a plus.
