Establishment and Early Development

The Regional Campus Mianwali of Allama Iqbal Open University was established in 1987 to provide distance and non-formal education to the people of Mianwali and Bhakkar. Since then, it has helped students who face geographical, financial, or personal barriers in accessing traditional universities.

Campus Infrastructure

In 2014, the campus shifted into a modern double-storey building with a basement. It covers 8 Kanals of land, with:

• 🌳 Uncovered area: 3,757 sq. ft.

The central location in Mianwali city makes it easily accessible to both urban and rural students.
