Region History – AIOU Regional Campus Larkana
The Regional Campus Larkana of Allama Iqbal Open University was established on 19 July 1994. Since its foundation, it has been serving as an academic hub for thousands of students in interior Sindh, ensuring that higher education remains accessible to learners from diverse backgrounds.
Geographical Coverage
The Regional Campus Larkana provides educational services to four districts of Sindh:
- Larkana
- Jacobabad
- Shikarpur
- Qambar Shahdadkot
By covering multiple districts, the campus has widened AIOU’s reach and ensured that both urban and rural populations benefit from its programs.
