AIOU Regional Office Kasur – Establishment & Coverage
The AIOU Regional Office Kasur was officially established on September 11, 2013. Initially, its operations were managed through the Regional Campus Lahore. However, in December 2013, the office was permanently shifted to Kasur, marking a major step in strengthening AIOU’s academic presence in the region.
The Kasur region spans approximately 3,995 square kilometers and covers four Tehsils: Kasur, Chunian, Pattoki, and Kot Radha Kishan. This wide coverage allows the regional office to provide accessible and affordable education to thousands of students across both urban and rural communities.
Enrollment and Academic Network
By the Spring 2022 semester, the AIOU Kasur Campus achieved an impressive enrollment of 12,660 students, highlighting the rising demand for distance learning in the district. To support students effectively, the Regional Office has established:
- 8 Study Centers for tutorials and guidance
- 17 Examination Centers ensuring accessible assessment facilities
- 3,236 Registered Tutors offering academic support and assignment evaluation

The Regional Office Kasur is equipped with modern educational facilities to enhance student learning. Key resources include:
- Computer Laboratory with internet-enabled systems
- Well-Organized Library providing academic resources
- Facilitation / Helpdesk Center for student queries and guidance
