AIOU Regional Campus Bahawalpur – Overview
The AIOU Regional Campus Bahawalpur was inaugurated in March 1985 in the historic and culturally vibrant city of Bahawalpur. Since then, the campus has served as a gateway to education for students from Bahawalpur, Lodhran, and the surrounding areas, ensuring access to quality distance learning.
The Bahawalpur Regional Campus covers two major districts, Bahawalpur and Lodhran, and supervises 8 tehsils, including Ahmadpur East, Yazman, Khairpur Tamiwali, Hasilpur, Bahawalpur City, Kahror Pakka, Dunyapur, and Lodhran. This wide outreach enables students from urban centers, rural communities, and even the remote Cholistan desert to benefit from AIOU’s educational services.

The Bahawalpur Regional Campus is spread across 8 acres of land, featuring lush green orchards and a modern building designed to support academic and administrative functions. With its student-friendly environment, the campus provides a range of facilities to enhance the learning experience:
