Region History

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Model Study Center Mandi Bahauddin was established in 2019 to meet the educational needs of the local community. Considering the geographical importance of this district and the increasing number of students, the study center was set up to make distance learning more accessible and convenient.

This Model Study Center operates under the administrative supervision of the AIOU Regional Campus Jhelum. It primarily serves the students of Phalia and Malakwal Tehsils, providing them with academic support, guidance, and educational facilities close to home.

To enhance the learning experience, the center is equipped with a modern computer laboratory, a dedicated help desk, and supportive staff who assist students with academic queries, admission guidance, and other university-related services.

By establishing this study center, AIOU has not only reduced the distance barrier for students of Mandi Bahauddin but also ensured that they receive quality educational support in a professional environment.
