How to Reset Your AIOU Aaghi LMS Password – Guide 2026
If you already have an AIOU Aaghi LMS account and forgot your password, you can usually reset it yourself in a few minutes. Note: this guide is for students who already have LMS credentials – since Aaghi accounts are issued directly by AIOU (not self-created), if you’ve never received login details at all, you’ll need to contact AAGHI support instead of resetting a password. See the FAQ below if that’s your situation.

How to Reset Your AIOU LMS Password (Self-Service)
- Go to the Aaghi LMS Forgot Password Page
Visit aaghi.aiou.edu.pk and click “Forgot Password” on the login screen, or go directly to the password reset page.
- Enter Your Username or Email
Submit your registered username (Registration Number) or the email address linked to your Aaghi LMS account.
- Check Your Email for Reset Instructions
If your details are found in AIOU’s system, you’ll receive an email with a link or code to reset your password. Check your Spam/Junk folder if it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes.
- Set a New Password
Follow the link to create a new password. Choose something secure that you haven’t used elsewhere.
- Log In With Your New Password
Return to aaghi.aiou.edu.pk and log in using your username and new password to confirm the reset worked.
How to Get Help if Self-Service Reset Doesn’t Work
Time needed: 1-3 working days
Confirm Your Enrollment Status First
Log in to the AIOU CMS Portal to confirm your enrollment is active. LMS access issues are sometimes actually enrollment issues.
Email AAGHI Support Directly
If the self-service reset doesn’t find your account or the email never arrives, email AIOU’s AAGHI Portal support team with your full name, Registration Number, and CNIC, explaining the issue.
Contact Your Regional Office as a Backup
Your Regional Office can also assist or escalate LMS access issues – find your regional office’s contact details on our Campus Directory.
Call the AIOU Student Helpline
If you don’t get a response, call 051-111-112-468 or submit a ticket through the official helpdesk at support.aiou.edu.pk.
Wait for Confirmation Before Retrying
Once support confirms your password has been reset or your account has been reactivated, log in at aaghi.aiou.edu.pk to verify access.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Don’t confuse “forgot password” with “never received an account” – if you’ve never gotten LMS login details at all, self-service reset won’t help since there’s no account to reset. Contact AAGHI support instead.
- Don’t use third-party “AIOU LMS reset” tools – always use the official aaghi.aiou.edu.pk domain to avoid phishing attempts.
- Keep your Registration Number and CNIC ready when contacting support – this speeds up verification significantly.
No – password reset only works if you already have an Aaghi LMS account. If you’ve never received login details, that likely means AIOU hasn’t issued your account yet, or your program doesn’t require LMS access. Contact AAGHI support or your Regional Office to check your status.
The self-service option is usually instant if your registered email is current. Going through AAGHI support or your Regional Office can take 1–3 working days.

LMS (Aaghi) accounts are only issued to students in programs that use it for course delivery or online workshops. CMS, on the other hand, is used across all AIOU levels. If your program doesn’t involve Aaghi, you simply won’t have – or need – an LMS login.
