How to Login to AIOU Aaghi LMS Portal – Complete Guide 2026
The AIOU Aaghi LMS Portal is where students access course materials, submit assignments, and attend online workshops. Unlike CMS (which is used by all AIOU levels), an LMS account isn’t self-created – AIOU sets it up directly for eligible students and sends login details via SMS or email. Not every student gets one; see the FAQ below for why.

Click Login to reach your course dashboard, where you can view study materials, submit assignments, and check workshop schedules.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Don’t confuse LMS with CMS credentials – these are often separate logins. If you need help with the CMS side specifically, see our AIOU CMS Login Guide.
- Don’t try to self-register for LMS – Aaghi accounts are issued directly by AIOU, not created by students. If you don’t have one, it likely means your program doesn’t require it, or AIOU hasn’t sent your details yet.
- Double-check your Registration Number format – a single mistyped digit is the most common login failure.
The current official portal is aaghi.aiou.edu.pk. You may also see references to the older lms.aiou.edu.pk address, but aaghi.aiou.edu.pk is the one currently in use.
AIOU typically sends login details via SMS or email within a few weeks of admission confirmation. If you haven’t received them, contact your Regional Office or the official helpdesk at support.aiou.edu.pk.
Not necessarily – these are separate systems with separate credentials for many programs. See our AIOU CMS Login Guide if you need CMS-specific help.
Yes, the portal is mobile-friendly and can be accessed through your phone’s browser without needing a separate app.
This can mean two things: either AIOU hasn’t issued your Aaghi LMS credentials yet, or your specific program doesn’t require LMS access at all – not every AIOU student gets one. If you believe you should have access, contact your Regional Office or the official helpdesk.
Click “Forgot Password” on the Aaghi LMS login page and follow the instructions sent to your registered email. For a full walkthrough, see our AIOU LMS Password Reset Guide.
LMS accounts are only issued to students in programs that use Aaghi for course delivery or online workshops – not all AIOU levels require it. CMS, on the other hand, is used by students across all levels. If your program doesn’t involve Aaghi, you won’t need an LMS login at all.
